Open letter to AI

Image
As I find more and more companies doing AI, I wrote this letter to send to them to ask for a change. You may use it if you wish to join me on my campaign for the option to turn off AI. You may tweak it as you wish or just copy and paste! Dear [name of company], I understand your company has chosen to embrace AI with the [name of AI program] to "help" your users. However, I also want to have opportunity to choose. I see no option to turn off the AI completely. I don't want any AI incentives to shown to me. I am beyond frustrated that companies like yourself and many others try to promote AI so strongly on its users. Companies like you should let us decide whether we want to use it. We need to have the option in our settings to turn it on or off. I’m not asking you to stop AI, I’m asking for the power to decide for myself. Thank you and I hope to see progress that is more user friendly in the future. Signed, [your name]

So, standing for say 9 hours a day, at my register for 5 days a week simply deteriorated my spine and body so much that I developed sciatica. Sciatica is nerve damage. Extremely PAINFUL damage starting at my tailbone and down the back on my right leg. This isn't a continuous pain, no, it’s I’m terrified to move in fea...
